Alex is Back?

Been in Wikipedia lately? Guess what? Alex, the Lion will appear in the one-hour T.V movie, 'The Return of the Revenge of Dr. Blowhole'. It will air on 9th September, 2011! That's good to know! Maybe there's some reason they're trying to bring Alex into the show. Alex and Skipper have a bit rivalry, as shown when Skipper calls Alex a 'Psychotic Liar', and when Alex calls him 'The Psychotic Penguin'. Alex had an argument with the penguins that they can't handle anything seriously, in 'Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa', after their plane crashed in Africa. But this time, Skipper and the penguins must defeat Dr. Blowhole and Hans. I hope Alex and Skipper get in good terms rather than fighting.

Kowalski and Doris...

Unfortunately, it is revealed in the Episode 'Hot Ice' that she broke up with him, as mentioned in his poem:

'We swam as One,
I touched your Gentle Flipper!
Then You were Gone,
You wanted Someone Hipper!'

In the Episode 'Driven to Brink', Skipper says, "No, no, Doris! Kowalski must never know!", while dreaming. Does he have anything to do with Doris? What would happen if Kowalski finds out? However, rumours say that she is with Dr. Blowhole now! Poor Kowalski...

Superstitious Rico

Anyone wondered why Rico is so superstitious? Could it be because ‘Something’ like that has damaged his throat? Or was he never educated? (Sorry for that question)


As I watched the Episode ‘Misfortune cookie’, I felt like that he is the youngest, for his childish behavior. Even though he realized that Julien was trying to prove himself right to the penguins, he was still afraid. The other penguins knew that it was a bogus.


I think Rico is often needed most, just because he plays a small role in their mission - lending them special equipments by puking. But the team wouldn’t go well if he was the leader, would it?

Is Kowalski Emotional?

As we all know, Kowalski, Skipper’s lieutenant, is the smartest of the penguins, who uses logic to solve problems. This can make him seem cold, detached and aloof. But he’s very affectionate when it comes to his friends. Gradually, we come to know that he’s very emotional but does not show it.

What is black, white and red all over? A blushing penguin! In Season 1 Episode 'Gone in a flash', Private made them a Love smoothie. As Skipper asked him, Kowalski replied, “It’s a chemical reaction in the brain in using bliss, highly addictive!”. Later, he secretly started drinking the Love smoothie, while staring at the picture of Doris, the dolphin.

Another hint points it out, when Kowalski suggested that he enlist Doris to use her echolocation skills to track the missing lemur. However, Skipper replies, "Forget it, Kowalski! She's useless on land. Besides, Doris only likes you. She doesn't 'Like you' like you!"

When Rico was about to explode in Season 1 Episode, ‘All choked up’, he nearly burst into tears with the other penguins, saying, ”I also love you, in the same way, expressed previously… dude!”, and “That’s poetry, Skipper!”.

Later in the series, he is in love with Officer X’s sport utility vehicle.
